This fascinating guided tour shines a light on their presence—tracing the stories of women represented in the Penn Museum’s collections, as well as the pioneering female archaeologists who unearthed ancient sites and deciphered lost languages. We’ll explore how different societies have understood womanhood and gender, and how women have represented themselves across time and cultures.
