THE BORN LOSERS (1967) was the most successful independent film of its time, introducing the world to the iconic half-Indigenous Green Beret Vietnam vet Billy Jack! A group of Hell's Angels terrorize the young bikini clad girls in a Northern California town. Their parents are helpless, the townsfolk live in fear, the local police are powerless. The only hope is a justice-driven loner, Billy Jack, played by writer/director Tom Laughlin.
