Brazilian Night at the Oval

Brazilian Night returns to The Oval. Organized by Project Capoeira and Parkway Council, join us for this night of free, family-friendly music, dance, and capoeira celebrating Brazilian culture and kicking-off the Brazilian Day Philadelphia Series www.BrazilianDayPhiladelphia.com.
Schedule:
6 pm - 6:30 pm
Batala Philly, an all-percussion community band that plays Samba Reggae music from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

6:30 pm - 7 pm
Samba class with Malaika
Malaika is a skilled samba dancer and teacher. She'll lead a samba class, with live percussion for all ages and abilities.

7 pm - 7: 30 pm
Capoeira Roda with ASCAB Capoeira
Mestre Doutor leads the live music and capoeira games that are fun to watch or join in.
