Join us on Friday, September 26th, at the iconic FDR Boathouse in FDR Park for **Bailar en FDR: Welcome Autumn!** 🎉
The evening kicks off with a dance lesson at 7 PM by an experienced instructor, All skill levels are welcome, followed by DJ Valentin Flores spinning the best Salsa, Bachata, and more until 11 PM! 💃🕺
Come hungry, as Taqueria Morales will be there selling the best Mexican tacos and antojitos! 🌮
Hosted by Fairmount Park Conservancy and DJ Valentin Flores of DancePhilly, this event is a fantastic way to experience culture, meet new friends, and get moving!
**Tickets:** FREE! Please RSVP. Donations are appreciated to help continue free programs like this throughout the park.
**Know Before You Go:**
- You’re invited to the all-levels lesson AND the social dance—come for either, but we hope you’ll stay for both!
- Taqueria Morales will accept cash, card, or Venmo.
- The boathouse is covered, so the event will happen rain or shine.
- All ages and experience levels are welcome; minors must be accompanied by an adult.
- Dress for the weather, as the boathouse is open-air.
- There are nearby bathrooms (porta-potties) available.
- Bring your own water and snacks (there are no drinking fountains).
- Don’t forget sunscreen and bug spray!
- The boathouse has a staircase entrance that is not ADA-accessible.
- Alcohol is not permitted at the event.
**Parking/Getting There:** Plenty of free parking is available in the lot between the boathouse and the Swedish Museum. If you’re using public transit, take SEPTA to the Broad Street Line’s NRG Station (last stop). The nearest Indego bike station is at Broad and Pattison.
