Amor Fati Ep. 2: Astrology Teach-In & Sober Soirée

Join us for our second evening of astrology learning, gathering, and community with thoughtfully crafted zero-proof cocktails by FaceClock. Doors open at 6pm. Lecture and collective reading begins at 7pm.

Hosted by Retro Ade, this session will explore Carl Jung's views on astrology. One of the most influential depth psychologists of the 20th century, Jung described astrology as "the summation of all of the psychological knowledge of antiquity." He believed astrology was a key tool to understand the human psyche and unite conflicting unconscious forces – a key feature of the individuation process. Ade's short lecture will give an overview of a Jungian approach to astrology, followed by a reading of the current cosmic weather.

Open to all levels of astrological knowledge – including skeptics. This event is free but suggests a $5 donation.
