NEW (old) LOCATION! We will be in the church parish hall at St. Mary's at Penn, 3916 Locust Walk, Philadelphia, PA, 19104.
This will be our first official dance of the season! We will be in our old space in the Parish Hall at St. Mary's at Penn, located at 3916 Locust Walk. The church is between 39th and 40th Streets, on a pedestrian-only portion of Locust Street on the Penn Campus.

The Filberts are a band of local favorites from Philadelphia! Made up of members of the Hazel Nuts with a few others, they can rip old time tunes all night. Chris Germain leads the band on fiddle, backed up by John Salmon, Paul Sidlick, Margaret Sidlick, and Heidi Germain.
Alex Kramer, based here in West Philly, has been calling square dances for 13 years. His greatest square dance claim to fame is that he was featured in Radiolab's square dance episode -
https://radiolab.org/podcast/birdie-in-the-cage. Currently, he organizes West Philly Square Dance and plays fiddle in Rubble City String Band and with his friends.
As usual - doors at 7, Dance at 7:30pm, last waltz at 9:30pm, snacks and chats and jams to follow. All dances are taught, beginners welcome.
