“In the year 2104, fifteen years had passed since the fateful raid on NRT Outpost Brushy, a pivotal moment that had left the surrounding wasteland scarred and fragmented. The NRT had reclaimed the outpost, transforming it into a bustling trading hub where weary wanderers sought refuge. The air buzzed with the sounds of bartering, laughter, and the distant notes from the Rust Dogs, a faction that had made it their mission to uplift the spirits of those traversing the desolate landscape.
Lifetec, a beacon of hope within the outpost, offered remedies for the radiation sickness that plagued many survivors. Their stall, adorned with makeshift banners and glowing vials, drew long lines of desperate individuals seeking salvation from the poison that had seeped into their very bones.
Just beyond the fortified walls, the Atlas-military solutions faction had established their presence. These mercenaries, clad in salvaged military uniforms, patrolled the perimeter with a chilling efficiency. Their reputation as ruthless protectors attracted travelers in need of safety, but their loyalty was bought with cold hard currency. For Atlas, survival was a business, and they thrived amidst the chaos.
Yet, lurking in the shadows, the Raiders plotted their next move. This ruthless band of outlaws thrived on the chaos they created, their sole purpose to disrupt the NRT’s efforts to solidify control. They were a feral force, their bodies twisted and strengthened by the radiation storms that ravaged the land. These storms, harsh and unforgiving, left most survivors vulnerable, but the Raiders had adapted, becoming warriors of the wasteland.”
