Any creative form is welcome and invited!
This month Michigan singer songwriter, educator and organizer, Sam Cooper will be the guest emcee and will offer her gifts throughout the evening. She might even invite us all into song together! We will be be outside on the labyrinth next to the Petoskey Library hopefully enjoying a lovely evening of creative sharing together (we'll be in the Carnegie Building in the case of rain).
Everyone is invited to come and share as well.
Come as you are, all are welcome: people of all sizes, shapes, ages and abilities – no prior experience is needed.
Registration is appreciated and drop ins are welcome!
Free for all thanks to the Petoskey Public Library's sponsorship.
Doors open at 6:30 for refreshments and mingling and the open mic will start at 7pm.
If you would like to receive feedback you can specify what kind of feedback you would like to receive before you share and folks can choose to offer that to you during the break or at the end of the evening.
Refreshments will be available for sale until they sell out.

Guest Emcee:
Samantha Cooper’s voice is a gentle force. Her songs speak for their sound; from contemplative respites to keen PSA’s. Sam’s voice and violin appear on over seventy midwest albums. Her roles include songwriter, session musician, youth worker, organizer, event producer and mediator. Sam primarily works with The Michigan Climate Action Network, The Great Lakes Water Protector Network, Great Lakes Creatives and Youth Arts Alliance. Sam also co-founded and co-produces Hearth & Hymn and Solidarity Songs, a choir sharing songs of grief and joy in solidarity with justice, healing and movement work.
