Calling all spooky lovers!!
Saturday October 25th from 1pm-6pm Join us at Kawartha Downs for the first ever Trick or treat at the barn!!
This is a community event encouraging participation from those who are motivated by competition to create the spookiest displays for our Trunk or Treat element of this event.
What is trunk or treat?
Trunk-or-treat is a Halloween activity where people gather in a parking lot and decorate their car trunks for trick-or-treating. Instead of going door-to-door, children walk from car to car, collecting candy from the decorated trunks. It's often considered a safer and more convenient alternative to traditional trick-or-treating, especially in areas where houses are far apart or for families who prefer a more controlled environment.
Also convenient for those who want to hand out candy but don't live in an area where children come to their doors.
So register your vehicle and come up with your spookiest concept!! Stock up on candy and hope your display wins amongst the community! Winners scores VISA gift card.
A halloween market is also part of this event and guests will have to walk through the spooky barns to get to the trick or treating. You'll find vendors in the stalls of the barn with their spooky wares and treats.
