Welcome New Members
7:00 - 7:30 - KRFC Monthly Meeting
7:30 - 9:00 - All members are invited to come and join us for some holiday festivities. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided by the club and everyone is invited to bring their favourite holiday treats to share.
Annual Best Self Collected Specimen
All club members are asked to bring their best self-collected specimen from the 2025 collecting season. Each member may enter 1 in each of the following categories:
1. "Prepared Mineral Specimens" (These are mineral samples that have been prepared in some way beyond washing with soap and water. Acid etched, polished, etc.)
2. "In the Rough" (These are mineral samples that have been washed but nothing else.)
3. Fossils
The winner of each category will receive bragging rights for the year and a certificate.
Back by popular demand, we will again be testing our knowledge with a friendly game of Jeopardy. Bring your thinking caps and brush up on your mineral and geology trivia. We've upgraded our system this year so no "pigs" will be harmed this year.
Hope to see you all there! There might be a few surprises throughout the night, but you will just have to come join us to find out!
