Peterborough 200 Years Ago Walking Tour

Step back two centuries on this walking tour and discover Smith’s Village, the mill village that grew up at the confluence of the Contoocook and Nubanusit Rivers two hundred years ago. We will learn about Samuel Smith, the entrepreneur who built a thriving mill, the places that remain much the same since the 1820s, and the buildings and businesses that are now long gone.
