Introduction to Fitting - Bodices

Achieving a flawless fit starts with understanding how key areas of a garment shape the body. This introductory masterclass will focus on four key areas: shoulders, side seams, bust and darts, using a mixture of theory and demonstration methods.

In this session, you’ll learn:
- What measurements patterns forget to tell you about
- Simple ways to check if your shoulders are sitting properly
- How to tweak side seams for comfort and shape
- The secrets to flattering darts
- Easy pinning and marking techniques
- How to spot and fix common fit issues

This masterclass is for confident garment makers, and is curated for people who want to begin tailoring and altering clothing.

Please note that no sewing machine or equipment is required.
