Great Nights Back with "Halloween Party " themed 60's70's and 80s Soul & Motown Party and much more…. Royal British Legion Social Club, Broadway, Yaxley on Saturday 25 October 2025
Some sixty years on from the birth of soul music as we know it, it’s still alive and kicking in Yaxley! Yup, it was way back in the 1960’s when iconic record labels such as Motown, Stax and Atlantic hit us with an array of singers and bands, with such memorable songs.
Bring your dancing shoes along to the Royal British Legion Social Club, Broadway, Yaxley on Saturday 25 October to hear - and dance to - the likes of the Four Tops, Supremes, Curtis Mayfield, Sam and Dave to name but a few.
And we don’t stop there, as we’ll be exploring the 70s (think Kool and the Gang, Three Degrees, Jacksons and more) and the 80s (how about Chaka Khan, George Benson and Sister Sledge).
We invite you to also celebrate Halloween by dressing up - or down - with the best ghostly, ghoulish, monsterish and scary outfits you can find. Or just come to dance - the choice is yours.
All presented by some of the most established, longest serving soul DJs in the area Ian Grey, John Bradley and Andy Coulson
