Hi, all!
With the success of our previous yearly Battlegame Bootcamp events, we're looking at expanding the event to allow for theory and practical experience classes for our attendees to apply across all five of the Amtgard Knighting Paths!
As a result, we're happy to bring you the first Five Belt Bootcamp (BC-V, for short), which comes with a price tag of $35 for the weekend, and includes both feast and the option for respectful campsite hangouts afterward, as the campsite is publicly accessible and attended by non-Amtgarders.
If you plan to attend, I STRONGLY encourage you all to fill out this attendance form:

Your crats are:
Myself, Count and Battlemaster Iarwain, your Autocrat and contact point for this event! My job is to coordinate and make sure that everyone has what they need to have a good time, but the people who are actually running things are:
Our Class-Crat, the wonderful Sir Grand Admiral Anne Cash, has arranged for teachers for various topics (to be laid out in a thread in the Discussion section of this event) to be present to teach those interested and attending!
The excellent Countess Psylocyte Sapien, our Site and Facilities 'Crat, has arranged things so that up to 20 attendees have the option to camp on-site with their own tents if they like!
Our feast will be provided by the talented Dorian de Corbenic, and I'll include more details on what's involved in it here as we get closer to the date!
Classes will be held under the pavilion and in the nearby fields at Beavermead Park, while up to 20 attendees who want to camp overnight can do so! Anyone above the 20 attendees who wants to camp may do so, space permitting, as long as they're willing to pay the campsite $7.25 per person camping!
We also have access to the public beach at no additional cost, and the schedule below includes beach time between classes for anyone interested!
On that note, THE SCHEDULE:

Sunday, September 14, 2025:
10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Drop Dragonmaster entries off at pavilion, Weapons check. Last chance to sign up for the 4 & Under Tournament, last chance to sign up for the WTNB Tournament.
Attendees to self-select into Battle, Crown, Flame, Serpent, or Warrior path for the day; to help solidify the skills picked up on Saturday, attendees are encouraged to help out as they like with the planning and execution of the activities below.
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM:
For the Battle-focused, a three-round game of Flux with two teams is planned, where each team will choose their own scoring condition for one round, and the opposing team's scoring condition for another. The game-runners will choose a scoring condition for both teams after balancing is set with an eye toward fairness, fun, and interactive play.
Each team will then be given all three scoring conditions, and will be able to choose which round they pursue which scoring condition in.
For the Serpent-focused, Dragonmaster is to be held in this time slot as well under the pavilion.
I encourage those interested on the Warrior Path to work with our Warrior teachers to do up the brackets for the WTNB and Four and Under tournaments.
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch and beach break, we'll work together to make sure that nothing at Beavermead Park is left unattended while we all get the food and rest we need.
1:30 PM - 3:30 PM:
For the Warrior-focused attendees, this is the timeframe where both of the tournaments will be held, but if you're non-male, nothing prevents a person from participating in both tournaments.
There are never enough Reeves for these, so any volunteers will be GREATLY appreciated, as well as being in a prime position to see how what they learned the day before applies in action.
The four styles that will be run in these two tournaments are:
Single
Sword & Board
Florentine, and
Open.
Quest prep will also occur in this time-slot, likely to be of interest to the Flame-focused contingent, as well as possibly some limited quest prop crafting, so there will be many opportunities to help out! Further, if you're interested in NPCing, please let me or one of the Flame teachers know, so that we get a good sense for how you're able to help, as well as how best you might help! There are almost never enough NPCs, so again, volunteers are going to be STRONGLY valued.
3:30 PM - 5:00 PM:
This is where the magic of Quest happens, and the prep put in by our QMs and planners gets put into play!
We'll wrap up the weekend after this, as our time on-site will be finished, but the only thing we'll be missing to make this a great weekend is all of you!
Sincerely,
Your Autocrat,
Count Iarwain, Child of the Nine Blades and Battlemaster
