Get ready for the October Tide Ride—a golden-hour paddle on one of the highest tides of the year, right in the heart of Petaluma.

We’ll launch from The Floathouse and ride a sweeping 7.3’ tide into the quiet, tree-lined upper river. It’s the season when the light turns warm, the air feels crisp, and the river glows with fall energy. You’ll glide past historic downtown, then slip into wetlands full of birds, reflections, and late-season magic.

This is the kind of tide that opens up special channels we don’t often get to explore—making this paddle feel like a once-a-season experience.

We’ll return to the dock just in time to watch the sunset over the riverfront, with that post-adventure glow that only water, wind, and golden light can give.
