When was the last time you skipped down the street just for the joy of it like when you were a kid?
For the past 25 years, my mission has been to share the joy of adult skipping with the world via my
http://www.iskip.com website. In celebration of this milestone, I’m joining forces with fitness instructor Laura Sunday to lead a special group skipping / walking / dancing event in Petaluma on Saturday 9/20 starting at 4 pm at a yet to be determined starting point in downtown Petaluma.
This event is suitable for all ages and fitness levels because, above all else, skipping is a state of mind. We will be taking plenty of breaks and Laura will be providing joyful modifications for walkers who'd prefer to skip the skipping! :-)
Our primary intention is "painting the streets of Petaluma with positivity" and we want you to move in whatever way brings YOU the most JOY! There’s real strength in numbers and we're hoping for such a great turnout that Petaluma will become known as the skipping capital of the world!
We'll be starting by the Gazebo at Walnut Park and making some stops around town on our way to The Block where live music will be starting at 6 pm.
