One More Camp Before Summer Ends?
Several families have asked if we could fit in another camp this year – and the answer is yes.
Last September our Not Back to School Camp was a brilliant way to catch the last of the summer (with only a few showers!) and to welcome families just starting out on their home education journey. Gavan is happy to run it again this year, and we’d love you to join us.
Our August camp was packed with the kind of moments that make these weekends so memorable – bread-on-a-stick over the fire, ice breaker games, campfire banter, and a Mothers’ cuppa gathering. There was the Car Boot Challenge, morning yoga, Pizza Night, strawberry picking, and a huge water fight with eco-friendly water bombs, not to mention Saturday night glowing with neon. Meanwhile, the tweens and teens kept their own WhatsApp chat pinging non-stop as they organised where to meet and what to do, which gave them real independence while still being part of the group.
I may be organising from Thailand, but it’s Gavan who makes these camps happen on the ground – creating a welcoming space where families can relax, connect, and enjoy the freedom to take part as much or as little as they like. We’ll be doing all this again, with a few new surprises too.
