Join us in the meadow for some joyful folk music and dancing!
We are gathering in the meadow to dance and celebrate community at Pie Ranch! A dance caller will lead us in dances, accompanied by the HomePie String Band, as we enjoy being together. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Pie slices are available for purchase by donation at the barn during the dance. There is no dinner service, but you are welcome to bring a picnic basket of food, as long as you take your dishes home with you.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
At Pie Ranch Barn & Meadow Dances, we honor that the music and accompanying dance forms have African, Indigenous/Native American, and European ancestral roots. We acknowledge that square dancing was used as a tool of white supremacy in this country and that the contributions of Black, Brown, and Indigenous peoples to this tradition have often been erased. We are committed to using the space at Pie Ranch to address how to continually work on dismantling oppressive systems. Through dancing together, may we weave together these histories and heal historical harms by building a beloved community where all people feel safe, honored, and able to access joy.
