UWASS and WAMSS Connect are excited to present the Surgical Skills night! This special event is designed to give you hands-on experience with essential surgical skills in a relaxed and fun environment—perfect preparation before heading into clinical placements in the future!
👨🏻⚕️Who can attend?
Primarily targeted at MD1 and undergraduate students interested in surgery and/or clinical skills!

⏰ Time: 4:45 PM - 8:00 PM
📍 Location: FJ Clark Complex
🎟️Tickets: $20 (inclusive of food and drinks 🍕)
Tickets will be released on Wednesday 21st August at 5PM AWST. Spots are strictly limited to maximise learning experience so make sure to grab yours early!
Throughout the evening, you’ll be part of a rotating set of workshops based on your group, each designed to give you practical experience in key areas:
🪡Suturing: Learn how to suture on pig feet!
😷Sterile Gowning and Gloving: Get comfortable with sterile techniques, including gowning and gloving.
💉Injections: Practice subcutaneous, intravenous, and intramuscular injections with guidance.
🩻Radiology: Test your radiology skills with a series of interactive cases.
⚠️Safety requirements:
Closed-in shoes must be worn as sharp equipment will be involved.
