Shim Sham! First Class 2026!

Happy New Year! I think I'm still legally allowed to say that right?

Let's celebrate the incoming year with a class everyone has been wanting - the Shim Sham - the most beloved solo jazz routine of Lindy, and not just because it's the easy one. It celebrates Frankie Manning, one of the original innovators of the dance, and it celebrates coming together to dance.

Tonight is also opening night of 2026, Starting at the beginners at 7:30pm - a very good place to start - we'll be doing the Shim Sham at 8:30pm. Beginners will, of course, be the start of a new course.

The Shim Sham is also beginner-friendly, meaning no partner required, no prior experience needed, and no judgement if you forget what comes next and just smile confidently!
