Seitan - Chucken Tenders
Seitan is a food made from wheat gluten used similar to tofu. It is often used as a meat substitute in vegetarian dishes and some Asian cultures.
Join us and learn:
- what seitan is and where it comes from
- how to put the ingredients together to make chucken tenders (hands on)
- how to use seitan in other dishes
Once you've finished creating your delicious meals, you'll have a picnic in the beautiful garden of Perth City Farm, enjoying a taste of the seitan chucken tenders.
Take home your goodies at the end of the workshop and surprise your friends or family with your tasty creations.
Please bring with you:
- large metal or glass bowl
- sharp knife
- container to take your creation home
Please note, this workshop is not suitable for participants with a gluten intolerance or coeliac disease.
Our weekly Farmer's Market will be happening during your workshop, so bring your shopping bags and pick up some fresh, organic produce from local growers while you're there.
