POWA is rapidly approaching the end of the year, isnt it? Well, before we go home for Christmas, we do have a few more things to note - such as this week, where we reach the final episode of our current Drama series, Bartender: The Glass of God.
Other than that, our lineup remains unchanged! We did vote on the Elusive Samurai last week, but it slipped though its expulsion, staying in our lineup to what will be in final episode!

POWA’s AGM and Election is scheduled for the 16th of November.
The committee year of 2024/2025 is fast approaching its final screenings and it is time for our scheduled AGM and Election. While the full details for that meeting will be posted in its own event, it is worth jotting down the day of the AGM and Election in your calendars.
We are also nominations for those who are interested to be on the POWA Committee. In order for your nomination to count, you are required to email us at

For those who are interested, but unsure of just what being on the POWA Committee looks like, you may also contact the committee by that email, our socials or in person for any questions you might have.

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests – However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting rooms of the City of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM – and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.
