He has also written, arranged and recorded and released 3 of his own original blues CD’s , which have received airplay across Australia and the USA and Europe Kerry draws his inspiration from a wide range of influences such as Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, Albert King, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Freddie King , Lonnie Johnson and Robert Johnson, to name a few. He always gives his audiences a stellar performance, playing from the heart and always keeping an open mind to allow the music to guide him. His guitar solos are an exciting thing to witness. Listen to his unique interpretations of many songs he loves – many featured on his many recordings since the 1960s – by Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Willie Dixon, John Lee Hooker, JB Lenoir, Bo Diddley, Slim Harpo, Son House, Blind Willie Johnson, Robert Johnson, Big Joe Williams, Leadbelly, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Jimmy Reed, Blind Willie McTell, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Memphis Minnie, Snooks Eaglin, Mahalia Jackson, Little Walter, Junior Wells, Sonny Boy Williamson, Ray Charles.
Backed up by his superb band of world class musicians – Phil Bradley (Guitars), Chobby (Drums) and Hans-Aage Deberitz – Steve will take you on a special journey. This show is not to be missed by anyone with an open mind and a heart full of blues.
