GREYSCALE CONCEPT DAY 4.0

✨ What’s the vibe?
GREYSCALE 4.0 is all about stripping colour back and leaning into contrast, texture, shape, and emotion. Shooting in greyscale is not only a fundamental skill for photographers, but also a powerful way for both photographers and models to challenge their creative boundaries. By removing colour, we bring attention to intricate details, depth, and the impact that texture provides.

This studio concept day is designed for experimentation, connection, and collaboration in a supportive and inclusive environment. As always, Leading-Edge Collective events are welcoming, inclusive, and a whole lot of fun. We proudly welcome photographers and models of all backgrounds and gender identities.

By stripping everything back to the basics, GREYSCALE 4.0 is the perfect event for creatives of any skill level — whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine and challenge your existing skills.

📸 What to expect:

• Once you secure your ticket, you’ll be added to a dedicated Instagram group chat for inspo, outfits, updates, and the full event brief.

• We’ll kick things off with a short group huddle to introduce everyone, explain the concept, and set creative intentions for the session.

• The studio will be used to explore different lighting setups, angles, and textured compositions.

• Photographers and models will rotate and collaborate throughout the session with other like-minded creatives.

• After the event, all images will be shared via a collaborative Google Drive folder.

For Photographers:
• We are shooting in BLACK & WHITE ONLY.
• This is your chance to challenge yourself and step outside your comfort zone.
• Please bring your own camera gear, lenses, accessories, and any textured props to add depth and variety to your shots.
• The creative brief will be posted in the event group chat soon photo inspiration and other important details.

For Models:
• Please prepare TWO outfits that align with the texture-focused theme.
• We strongly encourage experimenting with patterns, fabrics, layers, and materials that translate well in B&W.
• Keep in mind: the final images will be in greyscale.
• The creative brief (which will be located in the event Instagram group) will include outfit inspiration, hair & makeup guidance, and key details.

LEADING-EDGE TICKET PURCHASE T&C's

1. Information Required: Each ticket order will require you to fill in a section of questions (This can include: your contact info, Instagram handle, pronouns, clothing size, etc.). This helps us on the backend to gather data that supports event preparation and ensures we can contact you, especially if you’re not in the Facebook group. An Instagram or Facebook username must be added into the event form to receive all the required info!

2. Pricing: Our pricing reflects a variety of factors involved in creating these events, including equipment, photoshoot props, marketing materials, event space hire, and more. Our prices will not change over time unless a promotional discount is offered through LEC channels.

3. Eventbrite Fees: Each ticket price on Eventbrite includes a small Eventbrite fee.

4. Refund Policy: We can only allow refunds up to 48 hours (2 days) before an event. If you need a refund, you can apply for a request through your confirmation email or contact us on Instagram.

5.After LEC events we put together posts and content to showcase and celebrate creatives on the day. This is a combination of photos and video and use of attendees images. If you do not grant permission this must be directed to us BEFORE shoot day.
