Celebrate three major METRONET milestones on Sunday, 12 October at Elevate and Celebrate, a free family-friendly event.

What’s being celebrated:
Reopening of the Armadale Line
Opening of the Byford Rail Extension for passengers
Official opening of Long Park

Event hubs:
Byford Station
Long Park (between Oats Street and Carlisle stations)

Highlights include:
Free kids’ activities, rides, and live entertainment
Community stalls, food trucks, and giveaways
Dog-friendly fun at Long Park, including the Puppy Pawrade at 11:30am
Public art tours at Armadale, Byford, and Long Park
New skate park demos and cycling workshops

Travel:
Free travel for SmartRider holders on Sundays
Special train services every 15 minutes from Perth Station (10am–6pm)
Limited parking at Armadale and Byford Stations
