Enjoy a relaxing evening by the fire with fellow crochet and knitting enthusiasts as we work to finish our holiday fiber projects with lots of support from your instructor. This is perfect for anyone who's stuck on a stitch and needs some help, fiber folks looking for the motivation to finish a handmade gift in time, or for anyone looking for friendly conversation while knitting or crocheting in Virginia's cozy Library. Grab your favorite tea or hot cocoa from one of our many local coffee shops and let's get you stitching!
Participants are invited to bring their tools, yarn, and any patterns they are currently working on. You will have the opportunity to work on your projects and have a knowledgeable instructor on hand to answer your questions and fix mistakes as needed.

Community Instructor: Annie Johnson
Annie grew up in an arts & crafts household, learning to crochet at 7 and knit at 14. She has honed most of her knowledge through trial and error, observation, and decades of repetition. She has been teaching for over 10 years and loves to share the joy of fiber crafts with anyone interested, from preschool to retired. Her favorite parts of teaching are witnessing a student's ah-ha moment and seeing them explore the hobby in their own way.
