YOASOBI is a band that creates “music from novels”. The band members are Ayase (composer) and ikura (vocals). Their first single “Into The Night” released on November 2019 has been streamed more than 700 million times on December 2021 and ranked No.1 on Billboard Japan Total song chart “HOT 100”. YOASOBI also ranked No.1 on Spotify’s “most streamed Japanese artist in the overseas market in the year 2021”. The song “Monster” was chosen for ”The 10 Best Songs of 2021” on the U.S. “TIME” magazine, and YOASOBI continues to draw international attention. YOASOBI continues to expand the scope of their development beyond music, including the publication of original novels and turning them into movies. コンポーザーのAyase、ボーカルのikuraからなる、「小説を音楽にするユニット」 。2019年11月に公開された第一弾楽曲「夜に駆ける」はBillboard Japan 総合ソングチャート"HOT100"にて2020年年間1位を獲得し、2021年12月に史上初のストリーミング累計7億回再生を突破。2021年1月6日に満を持して初のCD『THE BOOK』をリリース。豪華な仕様が大いに話題を呼び、全8曲がApple Musicストリーミングチャートで15位以内に同時ランクインするという快挙を達成。2月には初のワンマンライブ『KEEP OUT THEATER』を新宿・ミラノ座跡地の工事現場にて開催。7月にはユニクロ「UT」とのコラボライブ『SING YOUR WORLD』をユニクロ有明本部内・UNIQLO CITY TOKYOにて開催し、YouTube LIVE配信で同時接続者数28万人を記録。12月にはその年リリースした楽曲全てを含む2nd EP『THE BOOK 2』を発売し、日本武道館にて初の有観客ライブも大成功におさめた。Spotifyの“2021年海外で最も再生された日本のアーティスト”ランキング1位獲得。米国のニュース情報誌『TIME』に掲載された“The 10 Best Songs of 2021”に「怪物」が選出されるなど、海外からの注目も集めている。2022年2月より、島本理生・辻村深月・宮部みゆき・森絵都という4人の直木賞作家が原作小説を書き下ろし順次楽曲を発表していくというプロジェクト『はじめての』を始動。楽曲・小説・映像とさまざまな表現にその活動の幅を広げている。 YouTube https://www.youtube.com/c/Ayase0404 Official HP https://www.yoasobi-music.jp/
