The four-member band 'WE ARE THE NIGHT' plays sophisticated and dreamlike cinematic sounds combining synthesizers and acoustic instruments. You can see their own world view through the lyrics which carry honest internal on the theme of anxiety, hope and love of the present generation. Starting with the single albums 'Tiramisu Cake' and 'Star, Fire, Night' in 2015, WE ARE THE NIGHT has changed their sound and musical style. In October 2015, EP album 'Star, Fire, Night and Such Things' was released and the album had been nominated for the best electronic music of Korean Music Awards. Based in Seoul, the band has performed in famous local festivals – SoundHolic Festival Exit, Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival, Grand Mint Festival and Greenplugged Seoul Festival – to name a few. They joined a UK tour in London and Liverpool in May 2016 right after the release of another single, Dial. Recently, as the number of overseas fans increased, various performanceswere held overseas, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the Philippines in 2018 and 2019. They are also has been consistent with many achievements as participated in the TV drama OST and released a collaboration song with foreign artists. We ARE THE NIGHT has maintained its unique musical color in the Korean music scene and has been loved by many music fans so far.
