A Punjabi singer and producer who grew up listening to a vivid concoction of classic gangsta rap from the 90s. Wahzir swiftly forayed into gangsta rap and released his full-length debut “Sanu Dekhda Zamaana” and a slew of hit Punjabi Hip-Hop tracks. The world was shocked to witness Wahzir’s authentic rap sound emerging from AMRITSAR in Punjab. While the young emcee continued to produce various Punjabi pop records for numerous Punjabi artists on the come-up, he was also exploring his sound. That exploration reached its zenith with Wahzir’s breakthrough record “Notorious”. Released in 2021, it paved the way for unprecedented recognition and a turbulent rise in Wahzir’s influence over the Indian rap scene. Wahzir’s incendiary beats landed on Sidhu Moose Wala’s worldwide radar and the two linked up on “GOAT” and “Malwa Block” from the latter’s sophomore album “Moosetape”. Wahzir followed his fiery record production on Moose Wala’s album with the Majha rap classic “Wahzirinthehood”. Just two weeks before Moose Wala’s death, the two artists teamed up on the aptly titled “The Last Ride”. Ever since then, Wahzir has strived to further Moose Wala’s legacy. The same year, Wahzir made a sprawling debut with Def Jam Recordings India and released his first major label project “Keep It Gangsta” EP .The flagrant pure gangsta rap EP was followed by the “Some Memories” and “Back To School” EPs in 2023.
