About Vypsana Fixa

A band motivated by the alternative guitar rock of American bands like Sonic Youth, Nirvana, and the Pixies, as well as British rock giants such as the Beatles and Blur, the Czech Republic's Vypsana Fixa formed in 1995. After a quartet of demos, the band secured a more "official" deal and released its debut, Brutální Vsechno (Everything Brutal), in 2001 on BMG. The band would follow the debut up with Bestiálne Stastní (Beastly Happy) in 2003. Building on their initial successes, Vypsana released a live CD and a live DVD in 2006. Members Mardi, Meyla, Mejn, and Pitrs released album number four in 2007. About Vypsana Fixa
