In 2011, Vestron Vulture's journey began after he was ejected from a band he had co-founded, left with nothing but the determination to forge a new musical path. As the founding father behind the Dethwave movement, Vestron Vulture's roots extend back to the early days of the Retrowave/Synthwave scene. Although he transitioned away from the sounds of his earlier Synthwave era, his legacy bears the imprint of those days, with his contributions to the iconic Hotline Miami 2 soundtrack and various retro-inspired films. During the latter part of the 2010s, he temporarily ventured into the realm of Witch House, embracing the shadows to deepen his artistic expression. Drawing inspiration from this venture, he incorporated elements into crafting a darker and more enigmatic form of Dethwave. In 2019, following a failed side project, the Lionheart era emerged, introducing a fresh and melancholic Dethwave sound. Isolation and destruction became his primary wellsprings of inspiration. Vestron Vulture stands as a symbol of the misfit, a hardcore individual, and an unwavering advocate of the straight-edge ethos—a voice representing those often unheard. Through every sonic transformation, he has embodied the spirit of endurance and artistic resilience.
