Urban Love was born as a project to inject bossa nova's swinging step into much loved hits by the Rolling Stones. With guest singer Astrud C the group recorded their first bossa cover, Out of Time and they were overwhelmed by the success. With a push from friend Ituana as well as Michelle Simonal, they offered their track to a label who was creating a little album called Bossa N' Stones (Limited Edition) and the rest, they say, is history. They enjoy alternating between male and female vocalists like Mo'Nique and they always find a way to give back to the music they are borrowing.
