Tokio Hotel, who are the twins Tom and Bill Kaulitz, Gustav Schäfer and Georg Listing look back on 15 years of unprecedented success. After rapid national fame, the rock band stormed the international charts in 2007 with their first English-speaking album, “Scream” which included their global mega hit „Durch den Monsun“. Their albums „Zimmer 483“ in 2007 and „Humanoid“ in 2009 were followed by a long needed break from global promotion and touring. The band returned in 2014 with „Kings of Suburbia“ and „Dream Machine“ in 2017 and a bunch of singles in 2019 which strongly differed from their previous works by being a mix of Funk, Soul and Pop, a mixture that represents the Kaulitzes’ attitude towards life in Los Angeles. With more than 110 international and national awards, more than 7 million albums sold worldwide and platinum awards in 68 countries Tokio Hotel are one of the most successful German acts of their generation. 2020 celebrates the 15th anniversary of the bands career with a brand new take on their biggest hit „Monsun“ titled „Monsoon 2020“. 2021 kicked off with their massive dance hit with VIZE „White Lies“ which sold GOLD in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
