With unique lyrics and psychedelic sound, the band THORNAPPLE built their own ground based on the 'power of music in itself'. Their 2010 debut album [I Often Stammer and Forget the Way to Sleep] was completely sold out based on sheer word of mouth. After the release of their second studio album [Strange Weather], every THORNAPPLE show was sold out in seconds, including their end-of-year concert at AX Korea (now Yes24 Live Hall). They were eventually invited to a number of international gigs, such as Japan's 'Summer Sonic', Thailand's 'Melody of Life', and the joint Asia tour 'Far East Union'. After that, the EP [Capital Disease] was released in 2016, along with their annual concert, 'Fire Watching'. Due to its immense popularity, 'Fire Watching' became the band's signature concert series. Completed through years of hard work, THORNAPPLE's third studio album [Enlightenment] once again proved their irreplaceable colors to critics, being nominated for two awards in the 17th Korean Music Awards. THORNAPPLE also became the first Korean artist to be nominated for Taiwan's music award 'Golden Indie Music Awards'. The EP [Animal], released in August 2023, reflects their fierce struggles and unconventional attempts to further evolve THORNAPPLE's unique musicality. They are preparing to expand their activities through the national tour of the same name, 'Animal', in the second half of the year and are looking to expand beyond Korea to the world stage in the future.
