The word ‘TING’ is the sound of innovation on an open mind. The Ting Tings = Katie White & Jules De Martino formed in Salford Manchester, England in 2007. Spring ‘07 self release double A side ‘That’s Not My Name/Great Dj’ in conjunction with local indie label Switchflicker Records. After ltd single ‘Fruit Machine’ The Band signed to Columbia Recs. ‘’Great DJ’ released as the first Columbia single March ‘08 followed by the re-release of ‘That's Not My Name’ topping the U.K. charts in May ‘08. Self produced album ‘We Started Nothing’ topped U.K. album chart May ‘08 followed by tour of the album. 2009 Ivor Novello Best Album award/ Best New Artist Grammy nomination selling over 4m copies. 2011 Album ‘Sounds From Nowheresville’ produced in Berlin inspired by The Beastie Boys ‘Paul’s Boutique’. 2012 single release "Hands" mixed by Calvin Harris - global tour. 2014 album ‘Super Critical’ produced in Ibiza on band label Finca Records - Ibiza based Andy Taylor (Duran Duran) on co-production released October ‘14 preceded by April single ‘Wrong Club’, remix hitting No2 on USA billboard dance chart followed by single ‘Do It Again’. Sept-Oct ‘18 BlackLight / Estranged out from new Album 4 ‘The Black Light’.
