In 1994, as 11 and 10 year olds, Scott and his younger triplet brothers Bob, Clint, and Dave became the youngest band to ever sign a major label recording contract with Nashville based Polydor Records. In 1997 The Moffatts would switch music genres from country to pop and sign with EMI Eletrola out of Cologne, Germany. There the band would record what was to become one of the world’s biggest pop records of 1998/1999 Chapter One – A New Beginning, with Gold and Platinum records in 32 countries. In 2000 the band again switched music genre’s to an alternative rock feel and recorded the critically acclaimed album Submodalities, under the guidance of heavy weight producer Bob Rock, which at the time spawned the fastest rising #1 single in Canadian music history, Bang Bang Boom. In 2001 after performing over 5,000 shows the brothers decided to pursue solo careers as artists, writers, and producers. In February of 2017 The Moffatts embarked on a sell-out tour throughout S.E. Asia. What the future holds? Ya never know, but one thing is for certain – where there’s a Moffatt – there’s music!
