The Beaches

About The Beaches

Named after the neighborhood they grew up in, The Beaches comprises lead vocalist/bassist Jordan Miller, guitarist Kylie Miller, keyboardist/guitarist Leandra Earl, and drummer Eliza Enman-McDaniel. On their latest album, Blame My Ex, the group melds gritty, groovy instrumentals with sharp, specific lyricism as they explore the triumphs and disappointments of mid-20s growing pains. Sometimes funny, sometimes caustic, but always authentic, Blame My Ex is a satisfying mashup of anthemic bops and tender, introspective tracks that touch on heartbreak, transition, and growth. After their viral hit "Blame Brett," the single spent 16 weeks at #1 on alternative radio in Canada, making it the biggest alternative hit of 2023. It reached #16 on alternative radio in the US and peaked at #31 on US Pop Radio. The track was also included on NPR and i-D's Best of 2023 list, and The Beaches were named Billboard Canada’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year. The band made their US late-night TV debut on Kimmel in February 2024 and also won the JUNO Award for Group of the Year and Rock Album of the Year. They sold over 70,000 tickets on their worldwide tour, including selling out Toronto’s Bud Stage (16,000 capacity) three months in advance.
