The UN Postal department released a postage stamp of the Bharat Ratna and Sudha Ragunathan was presented the first stamp. Louisville, Kentucky (United States) declared 19 May, 2019 as Sudha Ragunathan Day in recognition of her service to the field of arts for the past four decades.
