Jakarta-born artist and producer, SHRK mainly focuses on Lofi Hip-Hop, Emo Rap, Alternative, and Instrumentals. Started off making beats in 2016, SHRK is heavily inspired by many artists such as Joji, Ugly God, XXXTENTACION, J Dilla, and Nujabes. From selling beats on Youtube to being a part of the Soundcloud era, his main goal is to make it to mainstream. In March 2018, SHRK released his debut single featuring Shiloh Dynasty and VAL titled “Better Things” resulted with over 1000 streams first week. In April 2018, SHRK released his first mixtape with Shiloh Dynasty titled “Sad Hours”, which quickly rose to surface and started getting attention from fans all around the world, resulted with over 150k streams first week. In May 2018, SHRK released an album titled “Lost in Love”, collaborating yet again with Shiloh Dynasty. The album is a massive hit with a grand total of over 100 million streams since released. In July 2018, SHRK released an Alternative/Hip-Hop track titled “Late Night ” featuring Isaak Jacob$ and Young Asian Kidd. In 2019, SHRK released another track with Isaak Jacob$ titled “Those Days”, an Alternative/Hip-Hop track, and a Lofi mixtape titled “how did it get so late so soon?”. SHRK made a comeback in March 2021, experimenting the Trap genre with a song titled “WHY” featuring ejbthekid and VAL. In November 2021, SHRK came back to his roots with the release of a Lofi mixtape titled “Lucid Adventures”.
