Sílvia Pérez Cruz (Palafrugell, Girona, 1983) has one of the most stunning voices of recent years. As a singer and composer she speaks the language of music, and has done so since she was a little child. Raised within the tradition of popular Iberian and Latin American song, she is also educated in jazz and classical music. Caught up in the flamenco spell, her supernatural connection produces an astonishing way of singing that can only be hers. Sílvia can’t be boxed into only one music style. She is versatile and very personal, -two qualities which rarely coincide, and which define her exactly-. Faithful to all styles of music she touches, she never loses her own essence when performing. In October 2020 she has launched a new project called “FARSA (género imposible)”, made up with thirteen original songs composed and created in conversation with other artistic disciplines such as theatre, cinema, dance and poetry. Sílvia has joined multiple projects and recordings in the past years and has collaborated with artists such as Gino Paoli, Stefano Bollani, Lluís Homar, Rocío Molina, Jorge Drexler, Hamilton de Holanda, Toquinho, Natalia Lafourcade, Lila Downs, Liniker, Joan Manuel Serrat and Lluís Llach, among others
