About Rahma Riad

With the encouragement of her father, the Iraqi legend Riad Ahmed, Rahma showed in a special ability to easily sing any musical piece. Her participation in Star Academy season 2010 was a turning point in her music career as she became a household name in the Arab world. By 2013, she was signed to "Music Is My Life" and its sister company "Watary Porduction" where a 360 plan was set. “Bosa” was released in 2014 and it earned Rahma a Murex d’Or award for Best Arab Female Rising Star. “Anoudi” was the follow-up single in 2015 and by 2016 “Weinak” was taking over the radio waves. “Khof Alay” was released as a lyrics video in 2017 and by 2018, her latest single “Waed Menni” topped the trending charts across the MENA region with millions of views and streams across various music platforms. In early 2020, her new single and clip "Mako Menni" were released with an exceptional and spectacular reach all over YouTube having 4m of views in 24 hours which made her internationally noticed.
