Paul Pastourmatzis is a seasoned DJ and "bedroom" music producer, making sounds since the early 2000s. The concept of Pueblo Vista came around 2014, searching for instrumental music for his video-making. He sought inspiration from his legends J Dilla, Nujabes, Aphex Twin, Bonobo. During the peak of the genre (2018-2020) his production collab efforts blossomed and along many of his peers, Paul tasted some success by landing on several editorial playlists (lofi beats, Jazz Vibes) and gaining millions of streams. Tracks like Goodbye summer dream, foggy, you're rain and night, Rainy Forest, Disappear, it was love, Better Days, overthinking to mention a few, have become genre classics. In his short career in the genre, he's released 4 Albums, skjás ónar ánthropos, Am épos am érgon, Endelecheia and Parthenogenesis. He also appears on a few collabs with Chiccote's Beats, Mindeliq and Neele Harder that were released with Lofi Girl. In 2021 he caught the attention of UNIVERSAL MUSIC and revived his 'Latenite Joints' series along several solo releases and remixes. Co-hosted a successful podcast 'The Sunday Roast' with his friend, lazyboyloops. The loss of his wife in mid 2023 had a significant impact in his life and music career, however his resurgence in 2024 was just a matter of time. He's the founder of PVMM, one of the oldest labels in the space, willingly being the stepping stone (and good friend) to established artists of the scene. No wonder he's called THE LOFI DAD.
