OMWAWES is a Dangdut group with boys singing which was founded around 2012 by the former vocalist of the Reggae Band JOGJAMMING, namely Dhyen and Tony Kurniawan who are also former JOGJAMMING drummers. The name of OM Wawes itself is also only spontaneous, there is no special meaning or extension of the name. This dangdut band was formed to change the point of view of people who consider dangdut to be lowly music.
