Noel Gadiano Cabangon (born December 25, 1963) is a Filipino folk singer and composer, known for composing socially-relevant songs. In 1987, he formed the group Buklod together with Rene Boncocan and Rom Dongeto. Noel Gadiano Cabangon was born on December 25, 1963, in Rosario, La Union. At the age of ten, he began his musical career and learned to play the guitar that he borrowed from a neighbor. He made a name for himself in the local music scene in 1982 beginning in little-known folk houses and bars.[1] He graduated from the Philippine Women's University with a degree in Popular Music in 2024.[2]
