About Nikos Vertis

Nikos Vertis started his musical journey in his native Thessaloniki. In summer 2002 he made an impact at the popular club “Rodon”, before heading to Athens to further his music career. In 2003, released his first album titled “Poli Apotoma Vradiazei” and won the award for “Best New Artist”. The following year he was awarded “Best Male Laiko Singer” coinciding with the release of his second studio album “Pame Psihi Mou”. 2005 saw the release of his third album which went platinum! Nikos quickly established himself as a dynamic live performer with consecutive residencies in the popular Posidonio venue. His fourth studio album went double platinum in 2008 and was accompanied by a world tour of 20 concerts, bringing Nikos to audiences in the USA, Canada, Europe and the UK. More platinum albums followed as well as worldwide collaborations like the song “Si on n’aime qu’une fois” with French singer Amir. In 2023 Nikos Vertis celebrated 20 years in music with a string of sold-out anniversary shows. Nikos Vertis is a leading figure in Greek music, with the biggest independent YouTube channel of any Greek artist. He is the first Greek artist to have a music video surpass 100M views with “An Ise Asteri” a feat that was exceeded when “Thelo Na Me Niosis” broke the record with 200M. He has performed to audiences of 300,000 around the world, with sold-out shows in iconic international venues such as Wembley, Kodak Theater, Mirage Las Vegas and many more.
