Named after the Japanese word for rainbow, Nidji formed in 2005. After Nidji hiatus their career for about 1 year they decide to search a new vocalist. Nidji came back with the new formation, Ubay (vocalist), Ariel (guitar), M. Ramadista Akbar (guitar), Randy Danistha (keyboards), M. Andro Regantoro (bass), and M. Adri Perkasa (drums). They continued to make more albums and singles, and the total they have 6 albums and more than 15 hit singles.
