NCT DREAM, a popular sub-group within the NCT brand, debuted in August 2016 with the bright, bubbly single ‘Chewing Gum’. Since then, NCT DREAM has released a wide variety of songs including ‘My First and Last’, ‘We Young’, ‘GO’, and ‘We Go Up’, presenting music and performances only teens can express, full of a wide range of emotions and images, from fresh and bubbly charms to a more powerful spirit. Not only did they peak on various music charts and shows, NCT DREAM also received the ‘Top Promising Group’ Award from ‘The 5th V Chart Awards’ hosted by YinYueTai, one of the biggest music awards in China. The group was also named Billboard’s “21 Under 21: Music's Next Generation” for three consecutive years from 2018 to 2020, and was the only Asian artist on TIME Magazine's “25 Most Influential Teens of 2018”, once again cementing their status as an influential young group around the world. In May 2021, NCT DREAM achieved their first 'million seller' status with their 1st LP 'Hot Sauce', selling 1 million copies within a week of its release and ascended to 'double million seller' status, surpassing 2 million total album sales in just 16 days, gaining 'Platinum Album' status from QQ Music. Further, as a testament to their ongoing global popularity, the group achieved ‘triple million seller’ status with cumulative sales of their 1st LP ‘Hot Sauce’ and its repackage ‘Hello Future’, once again proving their overwhelming power as a top international act.
