About Nails

Combining elements of grindcore, crust-punk, and death metal, NAILS emerged in 2007 in Southern California and quickly rose to the fore of the extreme metal underground with their unrelenting sound and savage live shows. NAILS released their debut EP, Obscene Humanity, in 2009, followed by the full-length Unsilent Death in 2010. The band inked a deal with Southern Lord ahead of the arrival of their 2013 acclaimed sophomore album, Abandon All Life. Three years later, NAILS made the lateral move to Nuclear Blast for 2016's third long-player, You Will Never Be One of Us. A split 7" with Full of Hell arrived later that year. In 2019 the band issued the brutal one-off single "I Don't Want to Know You." The fourth album, Every Bridge Burning, is the first NAILS record in 8 years and was released on August 30th, 2024 via Nuclear Blast.
