Mario Alberto Bautista (born July 1, 1993) is an American professional mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Bantamweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). As of August 27, 2024, he is #11 in the UFC bantamweight rankings.[5] Bautista was born in Winnemucca, Nevada, United States. He started wrestling at the age of 14 and competed throughout his high school years prior started training in jiu-jitsu.
