Mangli, or Satyavathi Chauhan, is a vibrant singer known for her energetic performances and deep connection to Telangana culture. Born into a Banjara family, she wears her heritage proudly in her traditional attire. Mangli's journey began with a diploma in Carnatic music. Though she initially aspired to be a music teacher, fate steered her towards anchoring in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. But her true calling was singing. Telangana folk songs are her forte, and her powerful voice brings festivals like Bathukamma and Bonalu alive. She's also a playback singer, and even lent her voice to the Kannada version of the hit song "Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava" from the movie "Pushpa: The Rise," a feat interestingly achieved by her younger sister, Indravathi Chauhan, who sang the original Telugu version.
